Pollok Baptist Church was founded in 1952 and (in February 2019) has a current membership of 47 people with about 95 people of all ages attending its worship times on Sundays. The Church’s home in Haughburn Road is within walking distance of Silverburn Shopping Centre and sits next to Househill Park, in the heart of a well–established community, a recognised community of multiple urban deprivation. Close by, there are some private housing developments, as well as new developments in the last year by local housing associations.
