Description
ChoiceWorks is a European Social Funded Employability that sits within the Neighbourhoods, Regeneration & Sustainability service of Glasgow City Council. The Programme aims to support people to move forward to address their offending behaviour through individual support and to provide employability and training opportunities. To engage with the Programme participants must be: Aged 16+, live in Glasgow and not be in employment or training and have been involved in offending. ChoiceWorks staff in addition to addressing offending behaviour will provide support with issues in an individual’s personal life, such as housing, addictions, health, money matters, etc. The employment and training staff when the person is ready will work with them to create: C.V's, apply for employment, training courses and offer in work support. Individuals work with the Programme at their own pace and are provided with support throughout their journey.
