North Kelvin Community Council serves a diverse river- and canal-side community containing a wide social mix. Most of the community area is in the Hillhead ward, with some also in the Maryhill and Canal wards. Community councils have an important role to play in acting as the local voice for their community and ensuring that the City Council is as well informed as possible on local opinion on a range of issues before the Council makes its decision
