Description
Victim Support provide emotional support to victims of any crime focusing on 4 key outcomes. We aim to improve safety and wellbeing and informing people of the criminal justice process when considering to report whilst offering the option of 3rd party reporting centres in all VSS offices. We will assist any victim or witness with special measures attending court to give evidence and inform people of their rights. We also have an Emergency Assistance Fund to assist with any financial implications caused as a result of the crime, based on our eligibility criteria. Our Helpline operates from 8-8 Monday to Friday and weekends from 10-4. Our Glasgow based service is open from Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with a late night opening on Thursday until 8pm. Glasgow Team are also available on Saturdays from 10am - 4pm.
