Glasgow Life and Glasgow Council for Voluntary Sector (GCVS), are working in partnership to offer young people volunteer placement opportunities within a third sector organisation registered with GCVS. GCVS identify suitable opportunities with vetted organisation and support host volunteering organisations based on the support needs of the young person. Glasgow Life provides a package of support to assist the young person to choose, access and sustain the volunteer placement. The placements may be an existing volunteer opportunity or a bespoke placement to meet the needs and aspirations of the young person. Glasgow Life will support the young person to progress on their employability journey. Additional vocational training is available to support the young person towards a positive destination. Joining the Programme Organisations can register their interest in hosting a placement by completing the survey monkey application form.
