Description
Glasgow Alcohol and Drugs Crisis Service is a direct access service for people in crisis due to alcohol and/or other drugs who present with a high level of risk in terms of their alcohol and drug use and other factors in their life. People can self-present to the service for initial assessment, in addition care managers can refer and complete initial assessment via telephone. If people are known to Glasgow Alcohol and Drugs Recovery Services (GADRS) staff within GADCS will make contact with care manager to discuss care plan, for those not known staff within GADCS will refer into the appropriate Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service.
