Description
We see the vital spark. In every young person, there's a flicker of ambition, a potential waiting to ignite. But for too many, an unfair start in life can dim that flame. Every day spent alone, navigating challenges without support, is a day further from the bright future they dream of. This is our challenge. This is our purpose. We are an award-winning national volunteer mentoring charity. We support adult volunteer mentors, from all walks of life, to help young people from care experienced, and wider challenging circumstances to find their path to realising potential, dreaming big and pursuing promising futures. No prior experience of mentoring is required: If you can provide a listening ear, a passion for building confidence, instilling self-belief, awakening ambition, and much more, get in touch for a chat about getting started. You simply need to dedicate an hour a week during term-time, at a local secondary school within school hours - from 9am-3pm. We're hoping you can commit to a minimum of one year to the programme. Better still, we're launching community based mentoring in specific regions to provide greater flexibility too.
