The role of PCC is to provide another voice for the Pollokshields community and to scrutinise the actions of public bodies and institutions. Pollokshields Community Council (PCC) is a statutory organisation, appointed by an act of Parliament*, with the duty to represent the interests of Pollokshields’ residents to Glasgow City Council and other official bodies. All members are volunteers who give their time to promote the well-being of Pollokshields as a place to live and work.
