Description
Maryhill Park is over 100 years old. Some people will remember when it had a bandstand and other features which have been lost over the years, but we are now working hard (as Friends of Maryhill Park) to revive this lovely park. We still have the tennis courts, the Ordinance Survey triangulation point and a wonderful view of the Campsies! Plus we have some new activities, and we run several events every year. The Park has conker trees, and great sledging hills in the winter, too. We are near Summerston and the Science Park in Glasgow. Maryhill Park is off Maryhill Road, and also bounded by Caldercuilt Road and Acre Road. Maryhill train station is near the park entrance, and we’re on the Kelvin Walkway.
