The Larkfield Centre is a community building, run by a management committee and established solely for charitable purposes, serving Govanhill Area and its Environs. It exists to promote benefits for the inhabitants of its community without distinction of political, religious, or other opinions, by associating the inhabitants, voluntary organisations, and local authorities, in common effort, to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life.
