Description
We are a national charity dedicated to ending homelessness in Scotland, one person, one family and one community at a time. Our mission is to relieve the suffering and meet the long term needs of homeless and vulnerable people in Scotland. To do this we partner with communities, churches, organisations, local and national government, to offer tailored support and services. In Glasgow we offer multiple services across the city, mostly under our Homelessness Prevention team, but a few with Crisis Intervention and Move On Support teams too. Our services are; · Community Development · Creative Expressions · Access through Advocacy · Bridge to Freedom (Recovery Programme) · Care van · Family Breaks · Work Placements · Bethany UpStream (young person + family counselling) · Connect to Community (support for men + women leaving prison) · Bethany Homes Glasgow (Community supported tenancies) We take self-referrals or referrals from other organisations. We can offer support and assistance to anyone who is at risk of homelessness, has previously experienced homelessness, struggles with addiction or has experience of the criminal justice system. This would include those looking for help with income and benefits, housing rights, independent living skills, connection to their communities, family support and access to mental health services.
